This mod simply modifies the distance you need to travel to reach each story location. The first couple of locations are about 5km away, and later ones are around 10km. The final location is about 20km away, so be prepared for a long journey.
Known issue: Sometimes the locations can change if you exit and re-open the world, or for some other reason. When this happens, your distance to the story location will be reset. I'm pretty sure that if you keep your receiver active for the journey, it should be fine. I think this is an issue present in the base game, but because the distances are shorter it's less of a problem.
